Soon after its release in the U.S., the LG Optimus L9 has been launched in Europe too where Amazon Germany is selling it in either white or black for €299 (the unlocked version).
Priced at $79.99 with a new 2-year T-Mobile in the USA, the Optimus L9 offers users a 4.7-inch IPS qHD display, a dual-core 1GHz processor and runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include a rear 5MP camera, a front VGA camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD card support and a 2,150mAH battery.
It is anticipated that the phone will be released at a similar price in other European countries soon. Our European readers might not get the same subsidy advantage as our U.S. readers, but this is certainly a compelling mid-level Android device which could be a hot seller this holiday season. Check it out and tell us whether you like it over other similar devices!
