This probably comes with little in terms of surprise, however LG has confirmed that Google will officially announce the Nexus 4 later this month. The announcement will come during the October 29 event and as of this time, we are still unsure what else will be announced. That being said, lets focus on the handset for now.

The details have come by way of LG. Or more specifically, by way of Amit Gujral who is the Product Planning head for LG Mobile. According to Gurjal;
“Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November,”
So there you have it, Google is indeed going to announce the LG Nexus 4 on the 29th. The question that we have deals with where the device will be available. Up until now it seemed that the Nexus 4 would be available globally, however as you have read, the confirmation notes specifically that the handset would be available “in the Indian markets by the end of November.” Of course, we suspect that the LG Nexus 4 will not be limited to the Indian markets.
At this point the specs have yet to be confirmed, however they seem to have been played out nicely by the rumors. The LG Nexus 4 should arrive running Android 4.2 along with hardware to include a 4.7-inch (1280 x 768) display, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2100 mAh battery, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
Otherwise, Google is also expected to announce the Nexus 10 tablet, a 32GB Nexus 7 tablet and Android 4.2 at that same event. Bottom line here, we still have some questions, but one thing seems certain — October 29 should be an exciting day for Android fans.
