Google’s October 29th Product Event has been postponed thanks to Hurricane Sandy, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping the Android-related leaks from continuing full speed. We’ve heard about everything there is to know about the LG Nexus 4 at this point, and we’ve even seen pictures of the device from just about every angle. What we didn’t have was a video of it in action, at least not until now.
The video apparently was originally filmed by Carrier 3 in Sweden and was leaked onto YouTube. One of the biggest features shown in the two-minute long video is the new Quick Settings menu found in Android 4.2. For those that don’t know, this is basically like what we’ve seen in many custom Android launchers before and gives us easy access to things like brightness, Wi-Fi and airplane mode.
Aside from the Quick Settings menu, we really don’t see much more of the new Android 4.2 features in the video. What else is supposed to be there? Based on what we’ve heard so far, we are also getting a new Gallery application, an improved camera app and even a multi-user account function.
While Android 4.2 Jelly Bean isn’t nearly as big of a jump as we experienced when we moved away from ICS, you can see there are still several new features worth getting excited about. When will we see the LG Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 officially announced? For the moment Google has yet to reschedule, but we’ll keep you posted.
