AT&T has become the latest U.S. based carrier to confirm the pricing and the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. And interestingly enough, AT&T will have the Note 2 available a few weeks later than Sprint. That being said, lets dive right in with the details. AT&T will have the Galaxy Note 2 priced at $299.99 on a two-year agreement.

The handset will be available beginning on November 9 and pre-orders will be available on October 25. Just to make the comparison, Sprint will have the Galaxy Note 2 available for sale on October 25. In other words, both carriers are charing the same, however Sprint users will get hands on a few weeks ahead of the AT&T users. Still, probably not something that would convince a carrier switch (assuming you were happy with your AT&T coverage).
AT&T also noted that the original Galaxy Note will remain available and priced at $199.99 on a two-year agreement.
One of the differences between the original Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 2 includes a bigger display. The Galaxy Note 2 sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The other differences include the processor, battery life and overall size. The Galaxy Note 2 is thinner and lighter, has a larger battery (3100 mAh as opposed to 2500 mAh) and a quad-core processor. Speaking specifically, the Galaxy Note 2 has a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor. Otherwise, the Galaxy Note 2 is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with specs to include 2GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and 4G LTE connectivity.
